I checked fuses and i do not have any more ideas what to check. The speedo is on 0 with ignition of, but as soon ignition is on goes up to 33miles and stays there regardeless.

That is totally unrelated to the fault code you have. Lean mixture caused the EML light to come on. Could be the evap purge valve or not.

Put wheels back on, set off on test drive- no Speedo. It didn't start working then stop, it didn't work from the moment I turned a wheel. After half a mile of no Speedo it triggers a P0500 speed sensor fault code. Back into driveway, disconnected & reconnected the battery to clear the fault code.

Hi im Shaun ive got a corsa c 2002 reg (petrol) and all of a sudden the speedometer and odometer have stopped working! ive changed the speed sensor and checked all the fuses (fuses under the bonnet) and the speedo is still not working. ive had the clock out and checked all the wiring behind it and it all seems fine. can anyone help me and tell me if theres any other fuses or relays i could check.
